V=7i-9j

1) The best way to tackle this question is to think of this vector as the hypotenuse of a triangle.

2) Therefore, we can write out the following:

\begin{gathered} (3,7),(10,-2) \\ V=(10-3)i-(7-(-2))j \\ V=7i-9j \end{gathered}

Note that this is a linear combination of those points. The coordinate from the y-axis will be "j" coordinates, as well as the "i" coordinates will be the x-axis.

Note the vector is oriented downward.

3) Thus, the answer is:

V=7i-9j
