y = k√x

Since y varies directly ast the square root of x, it has a constant k.

y = 37 when x = 121

Replace to find k:

37=k√121

37=k11

37/11 =k

So, when x = 196

y = 37/11 √196

y = 37/11 (14)

y= 47.09
