Please help!!! Without graphing, determine whether the coordinates are vertices of a triangle. Justify your answer by finding lengths of the segments formed by the points. A (-3,0), B (3.8), C (0.4)

\begin{gathered} AB=\sqrt[]{(3-(-3))^2+(8-0)^2}=\sqrt[]{6^2+8^2}=2\sqrt[]{15} \\ BC=\sqrt[]{(4-8)^2+(0-3)^2}=\sqrt[]{16+9}=5 \\ CA=\sqrt[]{(0-(-3))^2+(4-0)^2}=\sqrt[]{9+16}=5 \end{gathered}

Since BC = CA, we can conclude it is a triangle, to be exact, an isosceles triangle
