This question requires us to distribute 132 pencils and 216 stickers equally ;

In order to do this : we need to fing the GCF (greatest common factor ) of 132 and 216 .

1. find the prime factorisation of 132

132 = 2x2x3x11

2. Find the prime factorisation of 216

216 = 2x2x2x3x3x3

3. To find GCF , multiply all the prime factors common to both numbers:

GCF = 2x2x3 =12

216 divide by 12 = 18

132 divide by 12 =11

finally;

• The greatest number of packages is 12, meaning suzanne will make 12 packages .

,

• The items in each bag will be 18 stickers and and 11 pencils.
