Given:

Height = 4 feet

Distance = 15 feet

Find-:

The angle of depression

Explanation-:

If the angle of depression is x then the base angle value is x

Use trigonometric formula is:

\tan\theta=\frac{\text{ Perpendicular}}{\text{ Base}}

For the angle "x"

\begin{gathered} \text{ Perpendicular }=4\text{ feet} \\ \\ \text{ Base }=15\text{ feet} \end{gathered}

Then the value of "x" is:

\begin{gathered} \tan x=(4)/(15) \\ \\ x=\tan^(-1)((4)/(15)) \\ \\ x=14.93 \end{gathered}

The angle value is 14.93°
