2. Part of the problem with researching human evolution is that the human ego gets in the way. As a result, some otherwise artificial separations are made between genus or species groups. A great deal of emphasis has been placed on whether or not a hominid communicates using language. Do we think chimpanzees have the capacity to learn languages? Why or why not?

The capacity for language is considered as a trait of human that is entirely unique. Chimpanzee could not learn to speak language because they do not have the same brain structures as human. They also lack the vocal tracts to produce sounds that are present in human. They do not have the capacity to speak. They can only communicate through hand gestures, body posture, facial expressions, and making different noises. These gestures is their way of communicating their messages.
