Given data;

A,B,C,D and E is a unique integer.

ABCDE*4=EDCBA

To find:

find a numerical value of each alphabet.

What is the value of A+B+C+D+E

EDCBA is a 5-digit number.

then,ABCDE is < 1/4 × 100000.

implies, ABCDE < 25000. Thus, A is 1 or 2.

we know that , EBCDA is a multiple of 4 so it is even.Thus, justifies the value of A=2.

E is either 3 or 8.

But,

But, 4 × 2(somenumber) cannot be 3

thus, E=8.

Now, We have 2BCD8 * 4 = 8DCB2.

and therefore 4 × BCD + 3 = DCB.

let us put different values of D to check,

undefined
