A neutralization reaction is a type of reaction that usually occur between a strong acid and a strong base, and the products from these reactions will also usually be a salt + water, therefore for the reaction given in the question we have:

KOH + HI -> KI + H2O, the salt is KI, Potassium Iodide, and water will also be produced
