1) Carbon dioxide (CO2).

When analyzing the types of bonds in molecules we can see the following. If the two atoms are metals, the bond is metallic. When one metal bonds to a nonmetal, the bond is ionic. When two nonmetals bond, they form a covalent bond. Since C and O are nonmetals the bond is covalent.
