Solution


Volume=base-area* height
\begin{gathered} Volume=(58ft)^2* h \\ 5046ft^2=3364ft^2* h \\ h=(5046ft^2)/(3364ft^2) \\ h=1.5ft \end{gathered}

Hence, the thickness of the pad is 1.5ft
