We are given the figure of a quadrilateral and the measure of its diagonals are:
2s + s + 5
and
t+12 + 3t
If we use the values s = 5 and t = 6, we get
diagonal 1 = 2(5) + 5 + 5 = 20
diagonal 2 = 6 + 12 + 3(6) = 36
Note that 2s and s+5 both measure 10
