As for Audrey, the equation that models his salary is:

A=9+12t

On the other hand, Edward's salary is:

E=15t

Where t is in hours, in both equations.

Then, if they earn the same amount of money, we need to set A=E and solve for t, as follows:

\begin{gathered} 9+12t=15t \\ \Rightarrow9+12t-12t=15t-12t \\ \Rightarrow9=3t \\ \Rightarrow t=(9)/(3)=3 \\ \end{gathered}

The answer is 3 hours, which is equivalent to 3*60=180 minutes. Option C is the answer
