1) Let's consider four integers

-2, 2, 4, -5

a) -2 x -2 = -4 ⇒ -4 ≤ -2

b) 2 x 4 = 8 8 > 2 and 8 > 4

c) -2 x 4 = -8 -8 ≤ -2 and < -4

d) -5 x 4 = -20 -20 ≤ -5 and -20 < 4
