a. 30/45

Start by dividing both numerator and denominator by 5.

((30)/(5))/((45)/(5))=(6)/(9)

Then do the same procedure but this time divide by 3

((30)/(3))/((45)/(3))=(10)/(15)

b. 18/24

Similar procedure, this time divide by 2.

((18)/(2))/((24)/(2))=(9)/(12)

Then divide by 3, as done above.

((18)/(3))/((24)/(3))=(6)/(8)
