The given points are A(-3,8) and B(-7,6).

The midpoint formula is-

M=(\frac{x_1+x^{}_2}{2},(y_1+y_2)/(2))

Where,

\begin{gathered} x_1=-3 \\ x_2=-7 \\ y_1=8 \\ y_2=6 \end{gathered}

Replacing these coordinates, we have

\begin{gathered} M=((-3-7)/(2),(8+6)/(2)) \\ M=((-10)/(2),(14)/(2)) \\ M=(-5,7) \end{gathered}

Therefore, the midpoint of AB is (-5, 7).
