\text{cal}=240\text{ kcal}\cdot\frac{1000\text{cal}}{1\text{kcal}}=\text{ 240000 cal}

One can contains 240000 calories

2) Convert calories (cal) into Joules (J)


J=240000\text{cal}\cdot\frac{4.184J}{1\text{cal}}=1004160J

1004160J are stored in the can.

3) Units to measure energy in food.

It is more common to use calories to measure energy in food.
