the polynomial is:

P(x)=x^2+7x-3

so to ecaluate the function we have to replace x for the value, sor example for p(3) we replace x=3 so.

\begin{gathered} P(3)=3^2+7\cdot3-3 \\ P(3)=9+21-3 \\ P(3)=27 \end{gathered}
