For this case we can find the area like this:


A=\pi(r^2)=\pi(6in)^2=113.097in^2

Then we can find the cost per each square inch like this:


p=(12.55)/(113.097in^2)=0.111

Part b

For this case we can do this:


A=\pi((18)/(2)in)^2=254.469in^2
