In the table, we are given the probability of each outcome, that is, selecting no people that have received a ticket, one, two, ...

Item a:

We look at the table, find the value of P when x = 1.

P(x = 1) = 0.2241

Item b:

We look at the table, find the value of P when x = 5. So

P(x = 5) = 0.0261

Item c:

All options greater than 1. So

P(x > 1) = P(x = 2) + P(x = 3) + P(x = 4) + P(x = 5) + P(x = 6+) = 0.2233 + 0.1567 + 0.0285 + 0.0261 + 0.0000 = 0.4346

P(x > 1) = 0.4346

Item d:

The only value that is in this interval is x = 0, since in this exercise we do not have negative values of x. So

P(x <= 0) = P(x = 0) = 0.3413
