A shipping container will be used to transport several 100-kilogram crates across the country by rail. The greatest weight that can be loaded into the container is 28000 kilograms. Other shipments weighing 4800 kilograms have already been loaded into the container. Use the drop-down menu below to write an inequality representing cc, the total number of 100-kilogram crates that can be loaded into the shipping container.

Our weight can pass 28000kg, we already have 4800 kg and will put more cc 100kg crates, so we have the expression:

28000\ge4800\text{ + 100}* cc

Lets find an inequality for cc:

28000\ge4800\text{ + 100}* cc\rightarrow28000-4800\ge100* cc\rightarrow23200\ge100* cc\rightarrow(23200)/(100)\ge cc\rightarrow232\ge cc
