Let x represent the number of plants that they will sell in five hours

We were told that the garden store sells six plants per hour. This means that

6 plants = 1 hour

then,

x plants = 5 hours

By cross multiplying, it becomes

x * 1 = 6 * 5

x = 30

They will sell 30 plants in 5 hoursx
