Both poetry and painting reached their creative peaks in China during the Tang dynasty. China became the most powerful and prosperous country in the world under the ruling of the Tang Emperors.
The Song dynasty was established after the tang dynasty. During this time few inventions were made like- printing, paper money, porcelain, tea, restaurants, gunpowder, etc. This era was a culturally rich and sophisticated age for China. There were advancements in the visual arts, music, literature, and philosophy fields as well.
