The value from the set that makes 4x=1 true can be gotten by making "x" the subject of the formula.


\begin{gathered} 4x=1 \\ \text{Divide both side by 4} \\ (4x)/(4)=(1)/(4) \\ x=(1)/(4) \end{gathered}

Therefore the value that makes the equation true is 1/4
