We have a circle that has an area of 36π square units.

We have to find the radius.

The area in function of the radius is πr², so we can find the radius r as:

\begin{gathered} A=36\pi \\ \pi r^2=36\pi \\ r^2=(36\pi)/(\pi) \\ r^2=36 \\ r=√(36) \\ r=6 \end{gathered}

Answer: the radius is 6 units.
