Bike shop x:

Deposit: $3.00

Hour plus: $2.25

Bike shop z:

Deposit: $9.00

Hour plus: $1.25

Bike shop x:

c=2.25n\text{ +3}

Bike shop z:

c=1.25n+9

To have the same cost at both shops:

\begin{gathered} 2.25n\text{+3 =1.25n+9} \\ 2.25n-1.25n=9-3 \\ 1n=6 \\ n=6 \end{gathered}

At bike shop x it costs $2.25 per hour plus. A $3.00 deposit to rent a bike at bike-example-1
