If the paycheck amount varies directly with the hours worked, how much is Nicky paid per hour, after taxes? * Hours Worked Paycheck amount ($) 130.76 149.44 65.38 102.74 16 11

we use cross-multiplication

take a pair and try to find the pay per hour

\begin{gathered} 14h\longrightarrow130.76 \\ 1h\longrightarrow x \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} x=(1h*130.76)/(14h) \\ x=9.34 \end{gathered}

to check we can take other pair

\begin{gathered} 7h\longrightarrow65.38 \\ 1h\longrightarrow x \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} x=(1h*65.38)/(7h) \\ x=9.34 \end{gathered}

the paid per hour is $9.34
