Solution.

We are required to simplify

(1)/(8)√(32)-(1)/(10)√(50)
=(1)/(8)\sqrt{16\text{ x 2}}-(1)/(10)\sqrt{25\text{ x 2}}
\begin{gathered} =(1)/(8)√(16)\text{ x}√(2)\text{ - }(1)/(10)√(25)\text{ x }√(2) \\ \\ \end{gathered}
(1)/(8)(4)√(2)-(1)/(10)(5)√(2)
\begin{gathered} =(4√(2))/(8)-(5√(2))/(10) \\ \\ =(√(2))/(2)-(√(2))/(2) \\ =0 \end{gathered}

The answer is zero (0)
