SOLUTION

Equation of a line is give as

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

Where x1 and y1 are the coordinates and m is the slope.

So x1 = 2, y1 = 7 and m = 3

The equation of the line becomes

\begin{gathered} y-y1=m\mleft(x-x1\mright) \\ y-7=3\mleft(x-2\mright) \\ y-7=3x-6 \\ y=3x-6+7 \\ y=3x+1 \end{gathered}
