Substituting the radius of the sphere into the formula of the volume and also into the formula of the surface area we get:


\begin{gathered} V=(2)/(3)\cdot(3.14)\cdot(3km)^3=\text{ 2}\cdot9\cdot3.14km^{3\text{ }}=56.52km^3 \\ SA=3\cdot(3.14)\cdot(3km)^2=\text{ 27}\cdot3.14km^2=84.78km^2 \end{gathered}
