2x and 3x as well as 2y and y. Although the numbers aren’t the same, the variables are the same and you can add two x’s together and two y’s together

Answer:

2x and 3x are like terms

2y and y are like terms

Because all of the numbers here have a variable, 4 is not a like term. The number 4 is the only one that doesn't have it.
