Given our following set of values:

\lbrace58,85,14,59,79,92,61,50\rbrace

We want to calculate the following:

\begin{gathered} \sum ^8_{}x^{}_{} \\ \sum ^8_{}x^2_{} \\ (\sum ^8_{}x^{}_{})^2 \end{gathered}

The first one, is just asking the sum of all the values.

\sum ^8_{}x^{}_{}=58+85+14+59+79+92+61+50=498

The second is asking for the sum of the squares of all the values of our set.

\sum ^8_{}x^2^{}_{}=58^2+85^2+14^2+59^2+79^2+92^2+61^2+50^2=35912

And finally, the last one is asking for the square of the first sum. Since we already know th result we can just calculate the square.

(\sum ^8_{}x^{}_{})^2=498^2=248004

With this, we have our results.
