John is cutting bows out of ribbon which will be used to wrap gifts. If John needs 5 of a foot of ribbon to make a bow, and he has 10 feet of ribbon, then how many bows can John make? I

John needs 5 foot of ribbon to make a bow.

Thus, the total number of bows that John can make is,


(10)/(5)=2

So, the answer is 2.
