angle 3 + angle 6 = 180 they are supplementary angles

3x + 20 + 6x - 20 = 180

9x = 180

x = 180/9

x = 20

angle 6 = 6(20) - 20

angle 6 = 120 - 20

angle 6 = 100°

2) Ok 3x - 21 measure the same as 2x + 23 because they are vertical angles.

3x - 21 = 2x + 23

3x - 2x = 23 + 21

x = 44
