given data;

\begin{gathered} (x_1,y_2)=\mleft(2,18\mright) \\ (x_2,y_2)=(4,28) \end{gathered}

To find:

The slope .

The formula to find the slope is,

\begin{gathered} m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1) \\ \end{gathered}

Plug in the points,

\begin{gathered} m=(28-18)/(4-2) \\ =(10)/(2) \\ =5 \end{gathered}

The slope of the equation is, 5.
