Why are olive oils and vegetable oilsliquid in room temperature?A) They are unsaturated, double bond inone carbon atommakes the fatty acid bend and thereforedoes not fit well.B) They are saturated already, they allhave Hydrogen bondsaround the Carbon chain therefore it fitswell together withother fatty acid chains.

Unsaturared fats are molecules that have one or more double bonds in their structure inside the fatty acid chain, because of these double or even triple bonds, hydrogens can't properly saturate them, making the structure weaker and liquid at room temperature, since their bond is weak, therefore the melting point is low.
