let x be the cost of jwellery sold by you.

The equation for option A is given by:


y=17000+(8)/(100)x

The equation for option B is given by:


y=21000+(4)/(100)x

So the equality is given by:


\begin{gathered} 17000+(8)/(100)x=21000+(4)/(100)x \\ (4)/(100)x=4000 \\ x=100000 \end{gathered}

Hence the sales should be 100000$ for you to make the same salary on both options.
