Assuming both segments have the same lenght, we would have that

Solving for x :

$\begin{gathered} 29=2x+5 \\ \rightarrow29-5=2x \\ \rightarrow24=2x \\ \rightarrow(24)/(2)=x \\ \Rightarrow x=12 \end{gathered}$

We get that x = 12
