Since the ratios are equivalent, we can equate the ratio of hybrid vehicles to total number of vehicles for the 3 days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

3: 8 = 21: 56 = 27: x

(21)/(56)=(27)/(x)
\begin{gathered} 21x\text{ = 56 }*27 \\ x\text{ =}(1512)/(21) \\ x\text{ = 72} \end{gathered}

Now to complete the table we have

the attendant at a parking lot compared the number of hybrid vehicles to the total-example-1
