For an arithmeticsequence whose first term is a_1 and the common difference is d, the nth term would be;

a_n=a_1+(n-1)d

Therefore, where the indicated term is the 50th term, we would have;

\begin{gathered} a_1=9,d=2 \\ a_(50)=9+(50-1)2 \\ a_(50)=9+(49)2 \\ a_(50)=9+98 \\ a_(50)=107 \end{gathered}
