(f) The y-intercepts

This is where the graph cuts the y-axis. Looking at the graph, the graph cuts the y-axis at -3.

So the answer as an ordered pair is (0, -3)

(g) The domain of f

The domain is determined from the x-axis or the x-values. From the graph, the domain is defined for a set of all real numbers of x, from negative to positive infinity.

So in interval notaion, the domain is


(-\infty,\infty)

(h) The range is derived from the y-axis or y-values.

Looking at the graph, the range is defined for all set of y-values from -3, to 0 to positive infinity of real numbers.

So in interval notation, the answer is


[-3]\cup[0,\infty)
