The scale factor is the ratio that you get when you divide corresponding side lengths of similar figures.

Here, the lengths are,

\begin{gathered} AD=6.2 \\ A^(\prime)D^(\prime)=18.6 \\ scalefactor=(A^(\prime)D^(\prime))/(AD)=(18.6)/(6.2)=3 \end{gathered}

Similarly the widths are,

\begin{gathered} AB=2.5 \\ A^(\prime)B^(\prime)=7.5 \\ \text{scale factor =}\frac{\text{ A'}B^(\prime)}{AB}=(7.5)/(2.5)=3 \end{gathered}

Thus, the scale factor is 3.
