-(x - 3) < 3 - 2

use the negative sign to open the parentheses

-x + 3 < 1

isolate -x

-x < 1 - 3

-x < -2

divide both sides by -1

-x / -1 > -2/-1

x > 2

The inequality sign changed because of the negative value of x

this means that x is greater than 2 and x could be 3 , 4 and so on
