The equation of a line with a given point and a slope is given as :

\text{Slope, m=}\frac{y_{}-y_1}{x-x_1}

From the given point in the question;

x_1=2,y_1=7

Thus, we have:

\begin{gathered} 6=(y-7)/(x-2) \\ \text{cross}-\text{multiply} \\ y-7=6(x-2) \\ y-7=6x-12 \\ y=6x-12+7 \\ y=6x-5 \end{gathered}

The equation of the line is y= 6x-5
