P^2+3pq-10q^2factor each polynomial completely. If a polynomial is prime, state this.

p^2+3pq-10q^2

To factor we have to find two numbers which their product may be -10 and after subtracting the result may be 3. These numbers are 5 and -2. So, the factors are: (p+5q) and (p-2q).

Therefore, p^2+3pq-10q^2 can be factored as (p+5q)(p-2q).

The answer is (p+5q)(p-2q).
