As the passage states, wood is a poor conductor of heat. Therefore, C is incorrect.

If it was true that wood and copper conduct heat equaly, both of them would be equaly hot too at the same time, but that doesn't happen. Therefore, B is incorrect too.

As the passage states, copper gets too hot too fast, so it wouldn't be a good material for matches as they would burn too fast and burn our fingers too. Therefore, D is wrong as well.

Because copper conducts the heat so fast until it gets to our fingers, we can say that it is a good conductor of heat. Therefore, the correct answer is A. Copper is a good conductor of heat.
