We have the following equation given:

f(x) = (x+3)^2 -6

The original equation for this case is

f(x) = (x-h)^2 +k

Where h and k represent the coordinates of the vertex

For this special case we can write the general expression like this:

f(x) = (x- (-3))^2 +6

So then we have a :

Shift 3 units to the left and 6 units up
