SOLUTION

From the question

\begin{gathered} \text{The length of the poster }l\text{ must be }6x\text{ inches, that is } \\ l=6x \\ \text{The width w, must be }5x+3\text{ inches, that is } \\ w=5x+3 \end{gathered}

And a poster is in a shape of a rectangle. The area of a rectangle is measured as

A=l* w

So, the expression for the area of the poster becomes

\begin{gathered} A=6x*(5x+3) \\ A=30x^2+18x \end{gathered}

Hence the answer is

A=30x^2+18x
