EXPLANATION/ANSWER:

The major abiotic factors that produce the Earth's main climate zones are:

• Sunlight ,- It is the amount and intensity of the sun in a location.

,

• Air ,- It is the movement of air.

,

• Humidity ,- It is the moisture in the air.

,

• Precipitation, - It is the amount and times rain water falls in a given area at a given time.

,

• Temperature ,- It is the degree of hotness or coldness an area can have. It is measured through Fahrenheit, Celsius, and Kelvin.

Based on the Köppen classification system, there are three major abiotic factors affecting the climate zones. These are the amount of and times precipitation occurs and the temperature.

AMOUNT OF PRECIPITATION = It is the amount of rain/ water that falls in a particular place.

TIMES OF PRECIPITATION = There are areas with little to no rain while there are areas with more rain.

TEMPERATURE = It is the degree of hotness or coldness an area can have. It is measured through Fahrenheit, Celsius, and Kelvin.
