Given

235\%

To write 235% as decimal.

Now,

The percentage is converted into fraction as,

235\%=(235)/(100)

Since

(1)/(100)=0.01

Then,

\begin{gathered} 235\%=(235)/(100) \\ =2.35 \end{gathered}

Since 2.35 has no thousandth term in its decimal part.

Then, add 0 to the 1000th decimal place.

That implies, 2.35 is rounded off to the 100ths place as 2.350.
