At first, we will find the slope of the given line

As shown the given line passes through the points ( -2, -4 ) and ( 2, 2 )

The slope will be calculated as follows:

slope=(rise)/(run)=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)=(2-(-4))/(2-(-2))=(2+4)/(2+2)=(6)/(4)=(3)/(2)

As we know, the parallel lines have the same slope

So, the slope of the required line = 3/2

The required line passes through the point (-3, 1)

So, the point-slope form of the line will be:

y-1=(3)/(2)(x+3)

so, the answer will be the last option
